The Local Government Unit works to empower municipalities and their communities to create effective and accountable local governance and service delivery in Southern Africa.

Good Governance in SA Municipalities project focuses on Partnering for good governance in 50 South African Municipalities from 2009 - 2014.  See more here.

Building Capacity for Local Governance in Southern Africa works to improve the quality of local governance in Botswana, Malawi and Zambia with the aim of deepening democratic processes at local level and improving service delivery. See more here.
